Harmony Public Schools joins the country in mourning the loss of President George H.W. Bush, a leader known as the “education president” for his tireless devotion to America’s schoolchildren.
A statewide Day of Mourning has been declared by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott for Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018, to allow Texans to pay their respects to President Bush. All Harmony Public School campuses will remain open and operating on their regular schedule on this date.

HSA Katy has partnered up with Advancial Credit Union to help students learn the importance of saving for the future. Students can create an account online with the help of an adult and then deposit money into it. Advancial representatives will be on campus once a month for deposit days. Students can bring their money to school and have their money deposited that day. Simple as that! If you’re interested in creating an account, click here. The December deposit day will be Tuesday, December 4th from 10:30-11:30.

Our Big Kahuna fundraiser items will be arriving on Wednesday, November 28th and will need to be picked up between 2-6 pm. All items will be located in Cafeteria A. Please note that you will not be able to walk through the building so you will either park in the front and walk around the building or park in the back parking lot. We will be having our Semester District Assessments from December 10th through December 13th (with makeups on December 14th). Please ensure that your students are well rested and have a good breakfast so that they can perform their best. Also, if you know that your student will be out of school any of those days, please email Ms. Bradow, Campus Testing Coordinator, at email@example.com so that plans can be made to finish all testing.
As a way to thank and honor all the teachers and staff who make HSA Katy such an amazing school, there will be a luncheon to show appreciation for their hard work on Wednesday, November 14th. Please consider donating a potluck dish, appetizer, side dish, dessert, or drinks.
